"I think that covers everything, gentlemen." CEO Christopher Wolfe turned from the convention center conferenced into his wall-size viewing screen and smiled at the men seated in front of his desk. "Miss Easton has already sent out copies of the contract, budget and projected completion dates to your offices. Do you have any questions?"

"Yes. Where did you find such an efficient assistant?" the center director asked. "And how can I steal her away from you?"

"I wouldn't let her go for a million dollars," Christopher told him.

That made the other men chuckle. Lacey gave her boss a wry look before she picked up a tray and began collecting coffee cups. A million dollars was one of the reasons she now worked as Christopher Wolfe's personal assistant, not that she could tell his clients that -- or divulge any of the other details involved in her decidedly unorthodox employment.

Two months ago, Lacey had started working at Wolfe International as a temp. When she discovered a scheme by Christopher's former assistant to blackmail him by secretly filming him at a BDSM party, Lacey had crashed the party to warn Christopher. Thankfully, the photographer was caught before he could make the sex tape. After having mind-blowing bondage sex with Lacey in the back of his limo, Christopher offered her a job as his new assistant -- with a catch. After hours he also expected her to serve as his sexual submissive.

At the time Lacey had felt insulted and flatly refused but Christopher wouldn't let her leave. He bought Anytime Office Temps, the agency that had her under contract for the next year. As the new owner he was able to raise her billing rate to a million dollars a year, ensuring no one would hire her -- except him, of course. Lacey was forced to take the job. Rather than demanding Lacey become his sex slave, he allowed her to make a choice.

No, this time I chose to do that on my own. She glanced at Christopher's classically handsome face, and melted a little inside. Best decision I ever made, too.

Once Christopher showed the last of his project associates to the elevator he returned to his office and closed the door. "You made quite an impression, Miss Easton."

"Decent coffee, too, apparently. I think they drank about three gallons." She carried the tray of cups over to the serving cart sent up for the meeting. "Should I call Housekeeping to come and remove the extra chairs?"

"It's after five. They're already gone for the day," he told her and held out his hand. "Come here."

Lacey moved around the chairs to walk to him. She felt the heat rising in her cheeks as his gaze shifted from her face to the hem of her knee-length gray skirt and back up to the high collar of her long-sleeved white silk blouse. Her professional duties ended at 5 p.m. Then, she became Christopher Wolfe's private plaything. Shifting from professional to personal never failed to thrill her. When she reached him, she stopped and waited in silence.
